BIO:
Mike is a Wisconsin native, first time author and 2 time father. He worked in film and television for thirty plus years, some credits include, Fight Club, Meet Joe Black, Monk, and a bunch of Warner Brothers cartoons. He spends time in Door County in the summers, and Lambeau field in the winters. Mike most recently was a consulting producer on the new CNN original, Breaking Bread. The Universe is his first novel, there’s another ready for the world: Ben Birch Can Fix Anything (a warm hearted revenge thriller), and he’s nearing a first draft on his third book, Reset, some light dystopia.
SYNOPSIS:
Messages from the Universe are delivered all the time. That is exactly what Katie called it after her husband’s sudden death. But what if the Universe is run out of an office in New York City?
The Universe is about a woman whose life implodes. She meets someone who hires her for a new job at the Queens, New York office of The Universe where she gets to see—and participate in—how the sausage of existence is made.
A parallel timeline of mysterious Universe employees from the distant past collides with the modern-day story.
Someone at The Universe is risking existence by not doing their job. In the end, who will prevail? Will life as we know it continue?
