Luella writes fiction and essays about culture, creativity, and the stories that shape us. She is the creator of A Low-Stakes Guide to Wonder, a newsletter exploring curiosity, creativity, and life’s small wonders, and Mirror in the Sky, a community that explores the Top 100 albums, movies, and novels.

Before transitioning to creative work, she founded and led a boutique consulting firm, where she helped small businesses flourish with clarity, integrity, and a touch of fun.

She believes that history is written by the artists, that storytelling heals and expands our world, and that curiosity is a habit worth cultivating. She lives with her husband, Roger, and dog, Cece.
