Season 3, Ep. 4 - Diana Peterson & Jodi Kiffmeyer
BIOS:
Jodi Kiffmeyer - Jodi is a native of northwestern Wisconsin who grew up begging her grandma for old family stories. That interest in family history eventually led her to the fascinating world of local history. Now she’s the one telling stories from her home in Eau Claire, where she also works as the archivist for the Chippewa Valley Museum. She’s published two books on Eau Claire history and writes regular local history posts for the museum’s social media and her personal Substack.
Diana Peterson - Diana grew up in Pennsylvania where she developed a love of both history and good stories. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1984, majoring in English, and never left. She and her husband raised three boys in Chippewa Falls. She is an editor/assistant curator at the Chippewa Valley Museum where she discovers, collects, and shares Eau Claire’s important stories. She also is passing an appreciation for history to her four grandchildren. Diana has written a variety of books including an essay book about reading and raising boys; a children’s book: The Adventures of Paul Bunyan; several history books: Logging in Wisconsin, Reflections of Eau Claire, and the recently released Hidden Eau Claire History. She also is a pop culture kid and has written a blog on classic television for nine years with accompanying books.
